Night Sky Observation with dinner at Colombo City Observatory

This company has provided you with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to dine while admiring the night sky. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the beauty of the universe while tasting the delectable food near the equator in Asia.

The most modern telescope in Sri Lanka is installed in this observatory, which is about 12 km from the city center of Colombo. The 14-inch aperture telescope Ritchey-Chretien telescope (RC) is the only telescope of its kind in Sri Lanka and an observatory owned by the Institute of Astronomy Sri Lanka.

Phases of Venus Jupiter's moons, atmospheric turbulence, as well as Jupiter's red spot, and Saturn's beautiful rings can be observed well with this modern telescope. In addition, a few other modern computerized telescopes are also arranged to observe according to your needs.

 You can observe here from 6 pm to 10. Only 10 pax will be arranged at a time.

 Dinner can be arranged to your requirements. In addition, as per your request, we also can organize a city tour of Colombo at night after experiencing the most amazing sights of the universe. The city and the building designed as the White House in America, the tallest tower in South Asia, the Lotus Tower, and the modern theater, the Lotus Pond, will be visited at night during this City Tour.

 At the end of this City Tour, you will better grasp Colombo's nightlife. Tuk tuks are used for this journey. 

These observations are made only during the period from December 15 to end of March 15 every year.
