Sun observation with Coronado solar telescope

The Sun is the closest star to us. A country near the equator is the best place to observe the sun. Sri Lanka is near the equator between 5 and 10 north latitudes, making it an ideal location for sun observation. Solar flares, sunspots, solar prominences in the solar atmosphere, solar active regions, and other solar activities can all be seen.

This observation is primarily carried out using the Coronado Solar Max ii 60m solar telescope at the city observatory. Furthermore, many telescopes are used for this purpose. This observation will last two hours, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
